BioSAFIN s.r.l. is a dental sector companies involved in the sale of materials for implantoprotesi and oral surgery. In particular BioSAFIN is the exclusive distributor in Italy of systematic implant Winsix, on the market since 1995. Biosaf, however, not only sells products but also of training and education in implantoprotesico. BioSAFIN, in fact, offers a wide and qualified program of meetings traveling throughout Italy with the assistance of Opinion Leader national and international Universities and Scientific Societies. BioSAFIN s.r.l. is a company formed by professionals with twenty years experience in the field, constantly updated on current scientific and clinical relating to the development of products in order to provide technical and commercial qualifications. At the same time boasts a research group engaged on many fronts to keep up with the demands of modern implantology. Both aim to develop the know-out of Winsix and commercialize innovative products that have quality as its main objective and that will simplify the operational protocols dentist. Among these, for example, the Easy Surgery, namely the equipment for surgery piezo-electricity.
 

Implant history

Winsix is an implant system, born more than 10 years ago. Quality combined with customer satisfaction which has always been the main goal. 

 

Winsix is an implant system that has tried to make ergonomics its force! As it was one of the first companies to suggest a colour code according to the different implant diameters and only one prosthetic key for every prosthetic component. In fact Winsix has paid a lot of attention to the prosthetic aspects of implantology keeping in mind that the final ring of the implant-prosthetic treatment is the prosthetic result!

 

Winsix offers a large range of copings: standard, angulated and personalizing. And today it is working to realize other prosthetic solutions to satisfy every clinical situation to enable the patient to have comfort, security and freedom of care. Between these a coping made of zirconia, a material becoming more present on the market today due to its resistance, biocompatibility, but especially esthetic!  

 

The linkage between the components is an aspect always put in the foreground. Free lock™, thanks to a double connection with a parallel internal hexagon 3 mm deep, results in an increased mechanical resistance to non-axial loads; an increase in the contact area and a firmer connection between the components, avoiding the micro-circulation of biological fluids inside the retentive element. The fixing screw  7mm long (the mean height of the prosthetic abutments) and 2 mm wide results in a significant reduction in the stress supported by the retentive element, even in the most extreme cases, without causing interference to the walls of the hexagon of the prosthetic components.

 

WINSIX® implants, which are disposable with different shapes – cylindrical, conical and now troncoconical with a flared neck -  can deal with the majority of anatomical situations. They are always characterized by these properties:

  • minimal trauma of insertion;
  • maximum firmness and primary stability;
  • absence of elastic tensions in the cortical bone.

Believing in research and wanting to answer the needs of market with high quality products, it is important to stress also the evolution of the implant microtopography and, then, of the implant surface.  The surface has always been rough, with a smooth neck: in the beginning the treatment was a differentiated sandblasting (BioActive Covering®). Today the surface treatment forecasts a sandblasting and etching treatment (BioActive Covering SLA®) to increase those microporosity that attract the surrounding cells, but the electrochemical surface (FCC- Full Contact Covering®) is going to be released on the market. FCC seems to interact even more positively with the processes of osseointegration.

The Winsix implant lines are produced in conformity with 94/42 CEE act.
